Scam sites use URLs that look almost identical to ours. Look closely — the difference is just a few letters:

The following websites are not operated by Whiskey Bent Hat Co. Do not enter any personal or payment information on these sites.

These sites use bots to clone our entire storefront — product photos, product descriptions, our founding story, and even our physical address and phone number. They look real, but they are not. We are actively working with Shopify and legal counsel to have them taken down.

How to Spot a Fake

• Check the URL carefully. Our only website is whiskeybenthatco.com. Scam sites swap, drop, or add letters to trick you. If the URL doesn't match exactly, it's not us.
• Too-good-to-be-true pricing. Scam sites list our products at 40–50% off. We only hold sales at select times during the year, and we always announce them on our official social media and email list first.
• No official announcement. If you see a Whiskey Bent sale but don't see it posted on our Instagram or in an email from us, it's a scam.
• Social media ads. Scammers run paid ads on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok to drive traffic to their fake sites. Always check the URL in your browser before purchasing.
• Copied contact info. Scam sites copy our real address, phone number, and brand story word-for-word to look legitimate. The giveaway is always the URL.

Already Ordered From a Scam Site?

If you believe you've placed an order on a counterfeit website, take these steps immediately:

• Contact your bank or credit card company to dispute the charge and request a chargeback.
• Change your passwords if you created an account on the scam site, especially if you reuse passwords elsewhere.
• Report the website to the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov.
• Let us know by emailing service@whiskeybenthatco.com so we can track it and warn others.
